(Continuation news of APEXFOOT): cost control in all areas of operations. As a result of that profit before tax during the quarter also reduced compared to the same period last year and finally higher income tax expense reduced the profit after tax which is reflected in EPS. The main reasons behind the increase in NOCFPS during the first quarter of 2023-24 were collections against 2022-23 Q4 healthy export, local currency devaluation and comparatively better local sales where the company (cont.2)
