The Company has further informed that reasons for declaration of stock dividend: The bonus shares were issued to achieve the optimum capital base considering the size and the growth of Company's business. The 1:2 bonus share declaration which is subject to approval of the shareholders in the AGM. The Company has declared the bonus shares by considering the utilization of the accumulated profit which stood at BDT 3,213 crore as at the year ended 31 December 2020. (cont.)
