BATBC Corporate Disclosure — 3 February 2022

(Continuation news of BATBC): The review petitions were subsequently heard on 9th December 2021 and the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh was pleased to dismiss the review petitions. It was confirmed by the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh that the retrospective VAT and SD demand of NBR being BDT 1,924 crores against BATB was unlawful and unjustified. As a result, there is no claim against the company in this matter. (Cont.3)

(বিএটিবিসির ধারাবাহিক সংবাদ): পরবর্তীতে 9ই ডিসেম্বর 2021 তারিখে রিভিউ পিটিশনের শুনানি হয় এবং বাংলাদেশের সুপ্রিম কোর্টের আপিল বিভাগ রিভিউ পিটিশনগুলো খারিজ করে দিয়েছিল। এটি বাংলাদেশের সুপ্রিম কোর্টের আপিল বিভাগ দ্বারা নিশ্চিত করা হয়েছে যে বিএটিবির বিরুদ্ধে এনবিআরের 1,924 কোটি টাকা রেট্রোস্পেক্টিভ ভ্যাট এবং এসডি দাবি বেআইনি এবং অযৌক্তিক ছিল। ফলে এ বিষয়ে কোম্পানির বিরুদ্ধে কোনো দাবি নেই। (প্রচলিত 3)
