BRACBANK Corporate Disclosure — 23 May 2026

The company has informed that the Board of Directors of the company in its 395th Board meeting, held on May 21, 2026, has approved to issue "BRAC Bank Green Bond". The proposed bond will be Non-Convertible, Unsecured, Fully Redeemable, Green Bond of up to BDT 1,000 Crore (Taka One Thousand Crore) at face value, with a tenure of maximum 03 years through private placement. It will be issued to support green financing initiatives of BRAC Bank PLC., subject to approvals of the Regulatory Authorities.

কোম্পানিটি জানিয়েছে যে, কোম্পানির পরিচালনা পর্ষদ ২১ মে, ২০২৬ তারিখে অনুষ্ঠিত তাদের ৩৯৫তম বোর্ড সভায় "ব্র্যাক ব্যাংক গ্রিন বন্ড" ইস্যু করার অনুমোদন দিয়েছে। প্রস্তাবিত বন্ডটি হবে একটি নন-কনভার্টিবল, আনসিকিউরড, ফুললি রিডিমেবল গ্রিন বন্ড, যার অভিহিত মূল্য হবে সর্বোচ্চ ১,০০০ কোটি টাকা এবং মেয়াদ হবে সর্বোচ্চ ০৩ বছর। এটি প্রাইভেট প্লেসমেন্টের মাধ্যমে ইস্যু করা হবে। নিয়ন্ত্রক কর্তৃপক্ষের অনুমোদন সাপেক্ষে, ব্র্যাক ব্যাংক পিএলসি-এর পরিবেশবান্ধব অর্থায়ন উদ্যোগকে সহায়তা করার জন্য এটি ইস্যু করা হবে।
