BSCPLC Corporate Disclosure — 18 April 2022

Refer to their earlier news disseminated by DSE on 14.09.2021 regarding Board Decision on Third Submarine Cable Project of SMW-6 Consortium, the Company has further informed that Minimum Investment Unit will be enhanced to 02 (Two) from previous 01 (One). Consequently, estimated cost of the project will be BDT 870 Crore instead of BDT 693.17 Crore. Additional investment will increase the capacity to 13,200 GBPS from 6,600 GBPS. (End)

14.09.2021 তারিখে SMW-6 কনসোর্টিয়ামের তৃতীয় সাবমেরিন কেবল প্রকল্পের বিষয়ে বোর্ডের সিদ্ধান্তের বিষয়ে DSE দ্বারা প্রচারিত তাদের পূর্বের সংবাদ দেখুন, কোম্পানি আরও জানিয়েছে যে ন্যূনতম বিনিয়োগ ইউনিট আগের 01 (এক) থেকে 02 (দুই) এ উন্নীত করা হবে। ফলস্বরূপ, প্রকল্পের আনুমানিক ব্যয় হবে 693.17 কোটি টাকার পরিবর্তে 870 কোটি টাকা। অতিরিক্ত বিনিয়োগ 6,600 GBPS থেকে 13,200 GBPS ক্ষমতা বাড়িয়ে দেবে৷ (শেষ)
