BSRMLTD Corporate Disclosure — 31 January 2023

(Continuation news of BSRMLTD): The company has informed that the global as well as Bangladesh economic situation was volatile in this period. Foreign Currency conversion rate sharply increased which has increased import cost as well as production cost. Moreover, there was shortage in power supply which has forced to cut production. As a result, cost of production increased. On the other hand, market of steel products was under severe pressure. (cont.2)

(বিএসআরএমএলটিডির ধারাবাহিক সংবাদ): সংস্থাটি জানিয়েছে যে এই সময়ে বিশ্ব ও বাংলাদেশের অর্থনৈতিক পরিস্থিতি ছিল অস্থির। বৈদেশিক মুদ্রার রূপান্তরের হার দ্রুত বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে যা আমদানি ব্যয়ের পাশাপাশি উৎপাদন খরচও বাড়িয়েছে। তাছাড়া বিদ্যুৎ সরবরাহে ঘাটতি থাকায় উৎপাদন কমাতে বাধ্য হয়েছে। ফলে উৎপাদন খরচ বেড়েছে। অন্যদিকে, ইস্পাত পণ্যের বাজারে তীব্র চাপ ছিল। (চলমান 2)
