(Continuation news of BSRMLTD): For the sake of greater interest of the country and to keep the development projects progressing, it was not possible to increase the selling price of the steel products keeping pace with the cost of production. Even though the company incurred loss for this period, they had to pay minimum tax as per Income Tax Ordinance 1984. As result, Net Profit after Tax, EPS and NAVPS decreased during the period. (end)

(বিএসআরএমএলটিডির ধারাবাহিক সংবাদ): দেশের বৃহত্তর স্বার্থে এবং উন্নয়ন প্রকল্পের অগ্রগতি ধরে রাখতে উৎপাদন খরচের সঙ্গে তাল মিলিয়ে ইস্পাত পণ্যের বিক্রয়মূল্য বাড়ানো সম্ভব হয়নি। যদিও এই সময়ের জন্য কোম্পানির ক্ষতি হয়েছে, তাদের আয়কর অধ্যাদেশ 1984 অনুযায়ী ন্যূনতম কর দিতে হয়েছিল। ফলস্বরূপ, কর, ইপিএস এবং এনএভিপিএসের পরে নিট মুনাফা এই সময়ের মধ্যে হ্রাস পেয়েছে। (শেষ)
