The Company has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company has decided to increase the capacity of the mill to 700,000 metric ton per annum to meet the country's growing demand for BSRM Xtreme 500W re-bars. A feasibility study for enhancing the capacity has been conducted and agreements with suppliers have been signed for supplying and commissioning of the machineries. The approximate cost to complete the modernization scheme will be Tk. 45.00 crore. The modernization work is expected to be completed by July, 2015.
