CITYBANK Corporate Disclosure — 21 December 2021

The Company has informed that the Board of Directors has taken decision to set up a new subsidiary Company in Singapore and obtain for Major Payment Institution License. This is subject to approval from Bangladesh Bank and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). The Company will inject SGD 2 million (1 SGD=BDT 63 approx.). The primary focus of the new subsidiary will be on Bangladesh bound remittances.

কোম্পানি জানিয়েছে যে পরিচালনা পর্ষদ সিঙ্গাপুরে একটি নতুন সাবসিডিয়ারি কোম্পানি স্থাপন করার এবং মেজর পেমেন্ট ইনস্টিটিউশন লাইসেন্স পাওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে। এটি বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক এবং মনিটারি অথরিটি অফ সিঙ্গাপুর (MAS) এর অনুমোদন সাপেক্ষে। কোম্পানি 2 মিলিয়ন SGD (1 SGD = BDT 63 আনুমানিক) ইনজেক্ট করবে। নতুন সাবসিডিয়ারিটির প্রাথমিক ফোকাস হবে বাংলাদেশ বাউন্ড রেমিট্যান্সের ওপর।
