(Continuation news of DESCO): in the accounts of DESCO on an estimated basis and is not agreed with DESA. Both the entities are governed by Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) under the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources. As per IFRS 3, para 18, Business Combination, Assets and Liabilities so acquired are to be measured at their acquisition- date fair value. Updated fair valuation of those assets received from DESA were not done since 2006. (end)
