DESCO Corporate Disclosure — 26 May 2025

The company has informed that the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission vide its letter dated: 21/05/2025 received in DESCO on 25/05/2025 afternoon, accorded its consent for issuance of 23,81,299 number of Irredeemable Non-cumulative Preference Shares of Tk. 10 each at par totaling Tk. 2,38,12,998.00 in favour of Government of Bangladesh represented by Secretary, Power Division, Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources against GOB equity.

কোম্পানিটি জানিয়েছে যে, বাংলাদেশ সিকিউরিটিজ অ্যান্ড এক্সচেঞ্জ কমিশন ২৫/০৫/২০২৫ বিকেলে ডেসকোতে প্রাপ্ত ২১/০৫/২০২৫ তারিখের চিঠির মাধ্যমে বাংলাদেশ সরকারের অনুকূলে ২৩,৮১,২৯৯টি অপরিবর্তনীয় অ-ক্রমযোজিত অগ্রাধিকার শেয়ার ইস্যু করার জন্য সম্মতি দিয়েছে, যার প্রতিটি ১০ টাকা মূল্যের মোট পরিমাণ ২,৩৮,১২,৯৯৮.০০ টাকা, যার প্রতিনিধিত্ব করেন বিদ্যুৎ বিভাগ, বিদ্যুৎ, জ্বালানি ও খনিজ সম্পদ মন্ত্রণালয়ের সচিব, জিওবি ইকুইটির বিপরীতে।
