(Cont. news of DESHBANDHU): raw material costs. These arose because of the Company had to procure raw materials locally due to inability to opening Letters of Credit (LC) amid the US Dollar crisis. Consequently, production capacity could not been utilized properly. As a result, the Company was unable to secure purchase orders from key buyers such as BADC, BCIC, and other existing clients. Moreover, finance cost has increased due to higher rate of interest charges by the banks. (end)
