(Continuation news of DOREENPWR): to exempt the Power Producers in private sector from implementation of WPPF as per Labour Act 2006 (Amendment 2013) as it is highly capital intensive industry. Accordingly, the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources requested vide its letter #27.00.0000.071.31.002.2013.278 dated 31/05/2017 to the Ministry of Labour and Employment to take necessary steps in this regard.
