News of EMERALDOIL): However, recent electricity shortages in rural areas and the resulting shortfall in the national grid have delayed the Company's receipt of the required electricity connection from the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB). Moreover, to facilitate the electricity connection, the Company has installed solar panels valued at approximately Tk.80 lakh and deposited approximately Tk. 50 lakh toward the connection costs specified by BPDB.
