(Continuation news of GP): In parallel, Grameenphone has been continuing engagement with the authorities with a view to find a transparent and amicable resolution. On 18 September, 2019, the Finance Minister in the presence of Minister of Post and Telecommunication, NBR Chairman, BTRC Chairman and representatives of Grameenpnone, got involved to pursue a constructive path towards resolving the issue. There, it was expressed that BTRC would withdraw the show Cause (cont. 15)
