GP Corporate Disclosure — 15 June 2023

The company has informed that it has received the certified copy of the judgement passed by the Hon'ble Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh on the case relating to VAT mechanism and spectrum assignment fee during 2G license renewal on June 01, 2023. In accordance with the said judgment, the company has handed over the pay orders to BTRC on June 14, 2023 without prejudice and upon reserving its rights as permitted by law.

কোম্পানিটি জানিয়েছে যে তারা 01 জুন, 2023 তারিখে 2G লাইসেন্স নবায়নের সময় ভ্যাট প্রক্রিয়া এবং স্পেকট্রাম অ্যাসাইনমেন্ট ফি সংক্রান্ত মামলায় বাংলাদেশের সুপ্রিম কোর্টের মাননীয় আপিল বিভাগ কর্তৃক গৃহীত রায়ের প্রত্যয়িত অনুলিপি পেয়েছে। উল্লিখিত রায় অনুসারে, কোম্পানী 14 জুন, 2023 তারিখে বিটিআরসি-তে পে-অর্ডার হস্তান্তর করেছে কোনো পক্ষপাত ছাড়াই এবং আইন দ্বারা অনুমোদিত তার অধিকার সংরক্ষণ করে।
