The company has informed that the ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East that have led to significant disruption in global energy markets leaves Bangladesh particularly exposed due to its reliance on imported fuels and LNG. This has resulted in increased volatility in energy supplies, higher fuel import costs, and initial signs of constraints in energy supplies and logistics across the country. (cont.1)

কোম্পানিটি জানিয়েছে যে, মধ্যপ্রাচ্যে চলমান ভূ-রাজনৈতিক উত্তেজনার কারণে বৈশ্বিক জ্বালানি বাজারে যে ব্যাপক অস্থিরতা সৃষ্টি হয়েছে, তা আমদানিকৃত জ্বালানি ও এলএনজির ওপর নির্ভরশীলতার কারণে বাংলাদেশকে বিশেষভাবে ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ অবস্থায় ফেলেছে। এর ফলে জ্বালানি সরবরাহে অস্থিরতা বেড়েছে, জ্বালানি আমদানির খরচ বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে এবং দেশজুড়ে জ্বালানি সরবরাহ ও পরিবহন ব্যবস্থায় সীমাবদ্ধতার প্রাথমিক লক্ষণ দেখা দিয়েছে। (চলবে.১)
