(Continuation news of ICICL): It introduces significant change to lessee accounting by removing the distinction between operating and finance lease and requiring the recognition of a right-of-use asset and a lease liability at commencement for all leases, except for short-term leases and leases of low value assets. Considering the complexities of the said standards the company is updating their accounting policies and trying to implement the standard in the upcoming periods. (cont.2)
