ISLAMIBANK Earnings Update

(Cont. News of ISLAMIBANK): Reasons for deviation: EPS on a solo basis decreased by Tk.8.58 compared to the previous period, mainly for Profit Paid on Deposits (PPD) expenses, lower investment income due to increase of non-performing investments and reduced income from Placement to other bank. However, the Bank has undertaken various measures in line with the recent guidance of Bangladesh Bank to improve asset quality, strengthen investment recovery and enhance income generation, (cont.2)

(ইসলামীব্যাংকের সংবাদের ধারাবাহিকতা): বিচ্যুতির কারণ: পূর্ববর্তী সময়ের তুলনায় একক ভিত্তিতে শেয়ার প্রতি আয় (ইপিএস) ৮.৫৮ টাকা হ্রাস পেয়েছে, যার প্রধান কারণ হলো আমানতের উপর প্রদত্ত মুনাফা (পিপিডি) ব্যয়, খেলাপি বিনিয়োগ বৃদ্ধির কারণে বিনিয়োগ আয় হ্রাস এবং অন্য ব্যাংকে প্লেসমেন্ট থেকে আয় কমে যাওয়া। তবে, ব্যাংকটি সম্পদের গুণগত মান উন্নয়ন, বিনিয়োগ পুনরুদ্ধার শক্তিশালীকরণ এবং আয় বৃদ্ধি করার জন্য বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের সাম্প্রতিক নির্দেশনা অনুযায়ী বিভিন্ন পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করেছে, (ধারাবাহিক ২)
