(Continuation news of ISLAMICFIN): c) As per International Accounting Standards (IAS)-19, in order to determine the liability of gratuity, actuarial valuation method has to be applied. As stated in note no. 2.27.02 to the financial statements, the IFIL maintains a gratuity fund for its employees under defined benefit plan. During the year under audit, the IFIL contributed Tk. 50,00,000 into the fund. (cont.4)
