The Company has further informed that NPAT has declined by 47% compared to last year. Reasons for the decline are as follows: i) In 2017 LBFL has earned cash dividend of BDT 245 million from one of its subsidiaries (LankaBangla Securities Limited) but this year there was no dividend from subsidiaries. ii) Income from Investment in shares has declined by BDT 273 million compared to last year. Moreover, provision for Diminution in value of Investment has increased by BDT 108 million. (cont.)
