Recently a team of DSE has visited the factory premises of Northern Jute Manufacturing Co. Limited. During the visit, the team has found that the production of the Company has been closed. The Company has also confirmed the same on November 5, 2013 stating that "we have closed the mill for a short period for re-habilitation, overhauling and balancing of machinery of the Company with effect from 1st November 2013".
