The Company has informed that it has decided to change the name of the Company to "Padma Oil PLC" from "Padma Oil Company Limited" and amendment of the related clauses of the Memorandum & Articles of Association of the Company in accordance with the Section 11(K) of the Companies Act, 1994 (2nd Amendment 2020) subject to approval of shareholders as a special Resolution in the Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM), to be held on January 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM, and other regulatory bodies.
