PIONEERINS Earnings Update

(Q1): As per un-audited quarterly accounts for the 1st quarter ended on 31st March 2014 (Jan'14 to Mar'14), the Company has reported profit after tax of Tk. 65.44 million with basic EPS of Tk. 1.54 as against Tk. 78.94 million and Tk. 1.86 respectively for the same period of the previous year. However, considering proposed bonus share @ 20% for the year 2013, restated basic EPS will be Tk. 1.29 as on 31.03.14 and Tk. 1.55 as on 31.03.13. The Company has also reported that basic EPS after tax & reserve for exceptional losses is Tk. 1.00 as on 31.03.14 which was Tk. 1.35 as on 31.03.13. However, considering proposed bonus share @ 20% for year 2013, restated basic EPS after tax & reserve for exceptional losses will be Tk. 0.83 as on 31.03.14 and Tk. 1.13 as on 31.03.13.
