POWERGRID Earnings Update

(Continuation news of POWERGRID): BDT 160,777,591 respectively as part of authority adjustment (refund of excess disbursement of SMD by the Govt.). The Company has neither converted the SMD into Share Capital nor considered the SMD while calculating the diluted EPS. The diluted earnings per share (Diluted EPS) for the financial year 2021-2022 would have been adversely affected to that extent. A decision is pending at the Ministry of Power Energy and Mineral Resources in this (Cont.13)

(পাওয়ারগ্রিডের ধারাবাহিক সংবাদ): কর্তৃপক্ষের সমন্বয়ের অংশ হিসাবে যথাক্রমে BDT 160,777,591 (সরকার কর্তৃক SMD-এর অতিরিক্ত বিতরণের ফেরত)। কোম্পানী এসএমডিকে শেয়ার মূলধনে রূপান্তর করেনি বা পাতলা ইপিএস গণনা করার সময় এসএমডি বিবেচনা করেনি। 2021-2022 আর্থিক বছরের জন্য শেয়ার প্রতি পাতলা আয় (ডাইলুটেড ইপিএস) সেই পরিমাণে বিরূপ প্রভাব ফেলবে। এ বিষয়ে বিদ্যুৎ জ্বালানি ও খনিজ সম্পদ মন্ত্রণালয়ে একটি সিদ্ধান্ত মুলতুবি রয়েছে (বিষয়ক 13)
