PTL Earnings Update

(Continuation of repeat news of PTL -Q3): Whereas for the period of 9 (nine) months (July 2012 to March 2013) ended on 31 March 2013 profit after tax was Tk. 125.55 million and basic EPS was Tk. 2.28 as against profit after tax of Tk. 135.04 million and basic EPS of Tk. 2.45 for the same period of the previous year. It is to be noted that the said EPS has been calculated based on weighted average Pre-IPO paid-up number of shares i.e. 55,125,000 shares both for 2013 and 2012. However, considering Post-IPO 85,125,000 number of shares, Company's basic EPS would be Tk. 1.47 for 9 (nine) months ended on 31 March 2013 (July 2012 to March 2013) and NAV would be Tk. 15.82 as on 31 March 2013.
