(Continuation news of SAIHAMTEX): (i) Inventories are valued at cost price or net realizable value whichever is lower. Net realizable value is based on estimated selling price less any other cost anticipated to be incurred to make the sale. Physical verification of inventories was carried out by the management staff of the company. Inventories were pledged and hypothecated to Eastern Bank Ltd. Gulshan Branch, Dhaka as security of working capital loan. (cont.2)
