SALAMCRST Corporate Disclosure — 6 August 2026

In response to a DSE query dated August 02, 2026 regarding news published in the online newspaper titled "All S. Alam factories in Chattogram shut down; workers laid off" (translated from Bengali to English), the company vide its letter dated August 04, 2026 has informed DSE, among others, the following: "...we would like to intimate that due to unforeseen circumstances beyond control, we have been facing significant challenges that have been created trouble us to continue regular production. অনলাইন সংবাদপত্রে প্রকাশিত "চট্টগ্রামের সমস্ত এস. আলম কারখানা বন্ধ; শ্রমিক ছাঁটাই" (বাংলা থেকে ইংরেজিতে অনূদিত) শিরোনামের সংবাদের বিষয়ে ০২ আগস্ট, ২০২৬ তারিখের ডিএসই-এর এক জিজ্ঞাসার জবাবে, কোম্পানিটি তার ০৪ আগস্ট, ২০২৬ তারিখের চিঠিতে অন্যান্য বিষয়ের মধ্যে ডিএসই-কে নিম্নলিখিত তথ্য জানিয়েছে: "...আমরা জানাতে চাই যে, নিয়ন্ত্রণের বাইরে থাকা অপ্রত্যাশিত পরিস্থিতির কারণে আমরা উল্লেখযোগ্য প্রতিবন্ধকতার সম্মুখীন হচ্ছি, যা আমাদের নিয়মিত উৎপাদন চালিয়ে যেতে সমস্যা সৃষ্টি করছে। (চলবে.১)"
