(Continuation news of SIBL): IFRS 16 defines that a contract is (or contains) a lease if the contract conveys the right to control the use of an identified asset for a period of time in exchange for consideration. While implementing IFRS 16, the Bank observed that IFRS 16 is expected to have impact on various regulatory capital and liquidity ratios as well as other statutory requirements issued by various regulators.
