The Company has informed that pursuant to the Long-Term Rental Agreement for Power Purchase with Bangladesh Power Development Board, a 15 (Fifteen) years contract period is going to expire on 09.02.2024 at 24:00 Hours (Midnight). Consequently, the plant shall be shut down from the above time and discontinued from the national grid. However, the company has requested the renewal of the Power Purchase Agreement for a further period of 5 (Five) years under a no-electricity no-payment basis. (cont.)

কোম্পানি জানিয়েছে যে বাংলাদেশ পাওয়ার ডেভেলপমেন্ট বোর্ডের সাথে বিদ্যুৎ ক্রয়ের জন্য দীর্ঘমেয়াদী ভাড়া চুক্তি অনুসারে, 15 (পনের) বছরের চুক্তির মেয়াদ 09.02.2024 তারিখে 24:00 ঘন্টা (মধ্যরাত) শেষ হতে চলেছে। ফলস্বরূপ, উপরোক্ত সময় থেকে প্ল্যান্টটি বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হবে এবং জাতীয় গ্রিড থেকে বন্ধ করা হবে। যাইহোক, কোম্পানিটি নো-বিদ্যুত নো-পেমেন্ট ভিত্তিতে আরও 5 (পাঁচ) বছরের জন্য পাওয়ার ক্রয় চুক্তি নবায়নের অনুরোধ করেছে। (চলবে)
