Reference to Note # 20, "Provision for Workers Profit Participation Fund (WPPF) and welfare fund" As per section 234 (b) of the Bangladesh Labour Act 2006 and as amended, every company shall pay to the Workers Participation Fund, Welfare Fund and Bangladesh Workers' Welfare Foundation Fund, not later than nine months from the close of that year, five percent of its net profit during such year in the ratio of 80:10:10.
