SUMITPOWER Corporate Disclosure — 15 October 2023

(Continuation news of SUMITPOWER): This issue relating to foreign exchange cost was brought to the notice of BPDB and relevant ministry (MOPEMR) collectively with Bangladesh Independent Power Producers Association (BIPPA) and finally got assurance from all concerned authorities for compensating power plants appropriately for exchange fluctuation between billing rate and the rate prevail on the date of payment by BPDB. (SUMITPOWER-এর ধারাবাহিক সংবাদ): বৈদেশিক মুদ্রার খরচ সম্পর্কিত এই সমস্যাটি BPDB এবং সংশ্লিষ্ট মন্ত্রণালয়ের (MOPEMR) সাথে সম্মিলিতভাবে বাংলাদেশ ইন্ডিপেনডেন্ট পাওয়ার প্রডিউসারস অ্যাসোসিয়েশন (BIPPA) এর নজরে আনা হয়েছিল এবং অবশেষে বিদ্যুৎকেন্দ্রগুলিকে যথাযথভাবে ক্ষতিপূরণ দেওয়ার জন্য সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্তৃপক্ষের কাছ থেকে আশ্বাস পেয়েছে। BPDB দ্বারা অর্থ প্রদানের তারিখে বিলিং হার এবং হারের মধ্যে বিনিময় ওঠানামার জন্য। (চলবে 3)
