SUMITPOWER Corporate Disclosure — 13 August 2025

(Cont. news of SUMITPOWER): no power has been dispatched from the plant since 19 August 2024 and it has obtained an NoC from the BPDB stating that, as there is no further scope for renewal of the Power Purchase Agreement, the operational lifespan of the power plant has expired in Bangladesh. In light of this, the Board, in its meeting held on 08 May 2025, resolved for the sale of the power plant and authorized the management to explore potential buyers.(cont.3)

(সামিটপাওয়ারের সংবাদ) : ১৯ আগস্ট ২০২৪ সাল থেকে বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্র থেকে কোনও বিদ্যুৎ পাঠানো হয়নি এবং বিপিডিবি থেকে একটি এনওসি পেয়েছে যেখানে বলা হয়েছে যে, বিদ্যুৎ ক্রয় চুক্তি নবায়নের আর কোনও সুযোগ না থাকায়, বাংলাদেশে বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্রের কার্যক্ষম জীবনকাল শেষ হয়ে গেছে। এর আলোকে, বোর্ড, ৮ মে ২০২৫ তারিখে অনুষ্ঠিত তার সভায় বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্রটি বিক্রির সিদ্ধান্ত নেয় এবং সম্ভাব্য ক্রেতাদের সন্ধানের জন্য ব্যবস্থাপনাকে অনুমোদন দেয়। (সামিটপাওয়ার)
