(cont. news of SUMITPOWER): As a consequence of these shutdowns, the Company recognized an impairment loss of BDT 1,520 million during the year. In addition, following the expiry of the Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), 4 power plants operated only partially on a "No Electricity, No Payment (NENP)" basis, while 3 plants remained non-operational throughout the year.
