TITASGAS Corporate Disclosure — 29 April 2026

(Cont. news of TITASGAS): Reasons for significant deviation: During July 2025 to March 2026, as per the Finance Ordinance 2025, the tax deducted at source (TDS) on gas bills was reduced to 0.6% from 2% in the previous year. Consequently, TDS for the period amounted to BDT 233.90 crore, compared to BDT 494.80 crore in the same period of the previous year. (cont.2)

(তিতাসগ্যাসের খবরের ধারাবাহিকতা): উল্লেখযোগ্য বিচ্যুতির কারণ: অর্থ অধ্যাদেশ ২০২৫ অনুযায়ী, জুলাই ২০২৫ থেকে মার্চ ২০২৬ সময়কালে গ্যাস বিলের উপর উৎসে কর (টিডিএস) পূর্ববর্তী বছরের ২% থেকে কমিয়ে ০.৬% করা হয়েছে। ফলস্বরূপ, উক্ত সময়ের জন্য টিডিএস-এর পরিমাণ দাঁড়িয়েছে ২৩৩.৯০ কোটি টাকা, যেখানে পূর্ববর্তী বছরের একই সময়ে এর পরিমাণ ছিল ৪৯৪.৮০ কোটি টাকা। (ধারাবাহিক ২)
