UCB Corporate Disclosure — 17 December 2023

Refer to their earlier news disseminated by DSE on 22.02.2022 regarding issuance of UCB 2nd Perpetual Bond, the company has further informed that BSEC has accorded its consent for issuance of Unsecured, Contingent-Convertible, fully paid-up non-cumulative BASEL-III compliant 2nd Perpetual Bond of BDT 300 Crore through Private Placement of BDT 270 crore and Public Issue of BDT 30 crore. The purpose of the issue is to strengthen the capital base of the Bank.

22.02.2022 তারিখে UCB 2nd Perpetual Bond ইস্যু করার বিষয়ে DSE দ্বারা প্রচারিত তাদের পূর্বের খবরটি পড়ুন, কোম্পানিটি আরও জানিয়েছে যে BSEC অসুরক্ষিত, কন্টিনজেন্ট-কনভার্টেবল, সম্পূর্ণ পরিশোধিত নন-কমিউলেটিভ BASEL-III ইস্যু করার জন্য তার সম্মতি দিয়েছে। 270 কোটি টাকার প্রাইভেট প্লেসমেন্ট এবং 30 কোটি টাকার পাবলিক ইস্যুর মাধ্যমে 300 কোটি টাকার কমপ্লায়েন্ট 2য় পারপেচুয়াল বন্ড। ইস্যুটির উদ্দেশ্য ব্যাংকের মূলধনের ভিত্তি শক্তিশালী করা।
