UPGDCL Corporate Disclosure — 25 August 2022

The Company has informed that the Board of Directors of the company has approved the Scheme of amalgamation of (i) United Anwara Power Ltd. (ii) United Energy Ltd. and (iii) United Jamalpur Power Ltd. ("Collectively the Transferor Companies") with United Power Generation & Distribution Co. Ltd. (UPGDCL), whereby, UPGDCL will merge with the Transferor Companies, and UPGDCL shall be the surviving entity. The above approval by the Board of Directors is subject to sanction of the Scheme (cont.)
