UPGDCL Corporate Disclosure — 4 May 2025

(Cont. news of UPGDCL):the Gas Supplier has continued to claim gas bill to the Company considering captive power class for gas consumed for supplying power to BEPZA. Subsequently, the Gas Supplier on 28.04.2025 disconnected gas supply to the Company's 82 MW power plant located in Dhaka EPZ (out of the Company's total generation capacity of 895 MW).In consequence to that, the Company is in the process of resolving the matter through discussion with BEPZA, the Gas Company, and all relevant stakeholders.(end)

(UPGDCL-এর চলমান খবর): গ্যাস সরবরাহকারী কোম্পানিটি বেপজায় বিদ্যুৎ সরবরাহের জন্য ব্যবহৃত গ্যাসের জন্য ক্যাপটিভ পাওয়ার ক্লাস বিবেচনা করে কোম্পানির কাছে গ্যাস বিল দাবি করে আসছে। পরবর্তীতে, গ্যাস সরবরাহকারী ২৮.০৪.২০২৫ তারিখে ঢাকা ইপিজেডে অবস্থিত কোম্পানির ৮২ মেগাওয়াট বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্রে (কোম্পানির মোট উৎপাদন ক্ষমতা ৮৯৫ মেগাওয়াটের মধ্যে) গ্যাস সরবরাহ বিচ্ছিন্ন করে। এর ফলে, কোম্পানি বেপজা, গ্যাস কোম্পানি এবং সংশ্লিষ্ট সকল স্টেকহোল্ডারদের সাথে আলোচনার মাধ্যমে বিষয়টি সমাধানের প্রক্রিয়াধীন রয়েছে। (শেষ)
