EMERALDOIL Earnings Update

(Q3): As per un-audited quarterly accounts for the 3rd quarter ended on 31.03.14 (Jan'14-Mar'14), the Company has reported net profit after tax of Tk. 33.23 m. with EPS (including extra ordinary & other income) of Tk. 0.85 as against Tk. 19.89 m. and Tk. 0.74 respectively for the same period of the previous year. However, EPS excluding extra ordinary & other income was Tk. 0.63 as on 31.03.2014 (Jan'14-Mar'14). Whereas net profit after tax was Tk. 67.91 m. with EPS (including extra ordinary & other income) of Tk. 2.19 for the period of nine months (Jul'13-Mar'14) ended on 31.03.14 as against Tk. 56.68 m. and Tk. 2.10 respectively for the same period of the previous year. However, EPS excluding extra ordinary & other income was Tk. 1.92 as on 31.03.14 (Jul'13-Mar'14).
