(Continuation news of EMERALDOIL): 11. The company paid salary & allowance of Taka 2,400,000.00 and Taka 720,000.00 respectively in cash instead of A/C Payee cheque or Bank transfer to its employees which are disclosed in notes # 20.01 & 21.00 (Salary & Allowance). Moreover, we also noticed various noncompliance's with ITO 1984 & Rules as follows: a. In applicable cases, salary tax was not deducted at source and not deposited to the govt. treasury; (cont.16)
