(Continuation news of ISLAMIINS): Reasons for declaration of stock dividend: i) As per Insurance Act, 2010, section 21, the minimum paid up capital for Non-Life Insurance business is at least Tk. 40.00 crore. At present paid up capital is Tk. 37,42,29,230.00 and to comply the minimum paid up capital 10% stock dividend has been recommended by the Board of Directors subject to approval by the shareholders at the 21st AGM.
